A little more about me
I am driven by a passion to make technology safe, inclusive, and empowering for everyone. My expertise lies in evangelizing trauma-informed, inclusive, participatory, and contextual research methods, ensuring that diverse voices are heard, respected and protected throughout the product development process.
I'm particularly passionate about applying these principles in the critical areas of Healthcare, Trust & Safety and Responsible AI. By understanding and anticipating potential harms, research can help build products that prioritize user well-being and foster a sense of trust.

My research philosophy centers on 4 core principles:
-
Value-Driven Impact: Prioritizing research that directly influences business outcomes by targeting customer value and its impact on adoption, retention, innovation, and revenue.
-
Adaptable Methodologies: A flexible, context-sensitive approach to research, tailoring interpretive frameworks to the specific needs and scale of each project and providing relevant and actionable insights across various stages of product development, service design, and change design.
-
Radical Transparency: Upholding research integrity, ethics and transparency to foster trust and empower stakeholders to make informed decisions based on reliable data.
-
Ethical Research: UX Research should be respectful of the resources and trust participants and collaborators give our work. UX Research should respect the norms associated with research using human subjects and mitigate potential ethical pitfalls including unjustified research with vulnerable populations, misleading Users/Deception, mishandling inadvertent sensitive topics/extreme experiences, false expectations, information gap, information misuse or confirmation bias.
