The buzz around new tech usually wears off pretty fast, making users wonder what it’s really worth. To boost its adoption and commercialization, researchers need to tweak their methods as the tech evolves. This way, they can spot and focus on the opportunities and situations where the technology can actually benefit users or businesses.

I see UXR practitioners in tech as game-changers. They push for research-driven, people-focused innovation and encourage behavior changes based on habits. Once formed, these habits can hold up during tough times. Lasting habits are key to healthier, safer, and more sustainable communities.
